2021 Stand Up for Nuclear Santa Cruz

Mothers for Nuclear joined other advocates including Monterey Bay for Nuclear at the first ever pronuclear march in Santa Cruz, California! We marched through downtown and out to the boardwalk and had lots of great conversations! Many were curious about Melty the Polar Bear, who symbolizes an animal with a vested interest in protecting and expanding nuclear around the world.

Obviously not everyone we met on the streets was supportive of nuclear, but the UC Santa Cruz student below sure was! We also met a Vet who wanted a Stand Up sticker on his wheelchair controller.
