Diablo Canyon License Extension
On April 6, 2026, nearly 10 years after the announcement of the Joint Proposal to shut down Diablo Canyon, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, employees, government officials, partners, and advocates joined together to sign and then celebrate license renewal for Diablo Canyon Units 1 and 2.
