We are so thankful to outgoing ANS president Steve Nesbit for his efforts in shifting ANS to a stronger advocacy role. We look forward to continuing to work the the society on strategic issues supporting current and future nuclear technologies.

As I was passing out stickers during the lunchtime meal, I got quite a surprise!

Before the meetings, I hosted a book club for my company’s Women’s Network Employee Resource Group.

Many critics don’t realize the juggling we have done as pro-nuclear advocates working for a company that was on the path to shutting down their only nuclear plant. We often had duplicate responsibilities, and had to take vacation time in order to attend any events unsanctioned by the current company “direction” (which was literally all of them).
