2016 Washington DC Advocacy with IFPTE

Shortly after the announcement of the Joint Proposal to shut down Diablo Canyon, we worked with our union, the Engineers and Scientists of California Local 20 to attend their advocacy day at our nation’s capital. ESC is under the umbrella of IFPTE, the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, and they arrange this event every year for their members to lobby on the hill and raise issues of importance to the union with our national policy makers.

This is the women of ESC, making Rosie the Riveter muscles in support of the effort to save Diablo Canyon. We CAN do this!
